Summary
This study, focusing on “unofficial political actors” that emerged and became reactivated under the political changes in Arab world called as “The Arab Spring”, intended to elucidate the impacts made by their activities in the politics of Arab East countries. Its field surveys and information collection activities conducted by a part of researchers and others during the study period placed particular importance on the detailed understanding of the activities of “unofficial political actors” instead of forcibly interpreting the movements in the politics of the Arab East countries in recent years under the paradigms such as “democratization” and “war of terror”. Then, this study found that “unofficial political actors” that had been originally expected to complement functions of state actually further undermined them.
