Complete Japanese Translations of Syrian Constitutions Published: Covering All Constitutions, Drafts, and the Social Contract Since Independence

CMEPS-J.net has published full translations of all constitutions of Syria since its independence—namely, the 1950 Constitution, the 1964 Provisional Constitution, the 1973 Constitution, and the 2012 Constitution—along with the “Syrian Constitutional Declaration” of March 2025, the “Syrian Provisional Constitutional Draft” of December 2024, and the “Social Contract of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria” enacted in December 2013.

We hope these translations will contribute to research on Syrian politics and legal systems.
